Reed Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant to join the team at a vibrant junior school in Featherstone. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to enhancing the educational journey of students and supporting a dynamic classroom environment.
Day to day of the role:
- Assist the class teacher with the planning and delivery of compelling lessons.
- Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
- Contribute to managing classroom behaviour and fostering a constructive learning atmosphere.
- Offer support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Prepare and maintain classroom materials and educational resources.
- Engage in school activities, trips, and extracurricular programs.
- Create a secure, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a preference for Key Stage Two experience.
- Relevant educational or childcare qualifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong passion for child development.
- Familiarity with the Key Stage Two curriculum and effective teaching methods.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
