Salary: £50,518 pending 2024/25 pay award

Position: Permanent, Full Time, 37 Hours per week

Location: Birmingham/ Hybrid

So, what is this role? You will be an expert in all things digital communication, using your know-how and the experience you have gained over the years. We want to improve our customer relationships and perception, as well as attract new talent through our website by producing creative and engaging digital communications.

  • Strategic Leadership: Advise the business and leadDigital Communications Specialist. Your expertise will drive the brand forward
  • Website Excellence: Ensure each business area aligns with our strategy through our website, making it an engaging channel for customers
  • Customer Engagement: Improve relationships and perception by producing creative and engaging digital content
  • Social Media Mastery: Develop and lead our social media strategy, boosting customer engagement and brand awareness
  • Web Traffic Boost: Increase web traffic and drive investment opportunities through our brand-new website
  • Data Driven Insights: Utilise analytics to measure campaign performance and recommend improvements
  • SEO Mastery: Keep pace with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices. Your mission? Continuously optimise our strategies for maximum impact
  • GDPR Champion: Ensure all out digital practices comply with current legislation. Your attention to detail will safeguard our users' privacy
  • UX Visionary: Map out best practices for user experience (UX). Your insights will shape seamless interactions across our platforms
  • User-Centric Testing: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to establish a robust user testing structure. By putting our customers first, you will ensure our digital products meet their needs

As a Online and Digital Communications Business Partner, we need you to have:

  • Experience with managing and optimizing content on various platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant coding tools
  • Previous experience developing and implementing strategies that seamlessly integrate across various channels
  • Proven ability to manage large, intricate website projects effectively
  • Ideally, a background in technical SEO practices
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools for content creation
  • Proficiency in tools like Optimizely and Hotjar
  • Experience using Asana for project management and collaboration

We would be really excited if you have:

  • Setting up and optimizing Adwords campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of tools like Google Analytics
  • Ability to identify and engage target audiences through digital campaigns
