Job Title: Mobile Technical Supervisor
Location: North/Central London
Package: £52,000 + Company Van + Hybrid Working

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

**Job Purpose:

The Mobile Technical Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality technical services across multiple client sites within the facilities management sector. This role ensures that maintenance, repairs, and compliance tasks are carried out effectively and safely, while managing a team of mobile engineers and contractors to meet performance standards and client expectations.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Technical Teams:

Oversee and provide support to a team of mobile engineers, ensuring that work is completed to the required standards and within agreed timeframes.

  • Maintenance & Repairs:

Coordinate and supervise the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair services across multiple sites, covering mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and general building services.

  • Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company health and safety policies, procedures, and relevant legislation (including HSE regulations). Conduct site audits and risk assessments regularly.

  • Client Liaison:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact for technical issues. Provide timely updates on work progress and address any concerns or queries.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Track team performance and ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. Generate reports on maintenance activities, incidents, and overall site performance.

  • Technical Troubleshooting:

Provide technical expertise and support to the engineering team, assisting with more complex issues and ensuring that technical solutions are efficient and cost-effective.

  • Project Management:

Assist with the planning and execution of minor works and small-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

  • Supplier & Contractor Management:

Manage and liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that outsourced services meet company and client standards.

  • Inventory & Resource Management:

Ensure proper inventory levels of tools, equipment, and spare parts are maintained. Manage the procurement of necessary materials and ensure cost-effective practices.

**Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems. A relevant qualification in Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).

  • Experience:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the facilities management or building services industry, ideally in a mobile position covering multiple sites.

  • Compliance Knowledge:

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices, including familiarity with UK legislation and standards.

  • Leadership & People Management:

Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing teams. Ability to motivate staff to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels. Strong customer service focus.

  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.

  • IT Proficiency:

Competence in using Microsoft Office suite, Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems, and other relevant software.

**Desirable:

  • Certifications:

Recognised certifications in Health and Safety, such as IOSH or NEBOSH.

  • Driving Licence:

Full UK driving licence is essential as the role requires regular travel across various client sites.
