PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) Coordinator

Join our team as a PIA Coordinator and play a vital role in managing our Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) operations. In this position, you will ensure seamless communication and coordination with various stakeholders, manage essential submissions, and maintain accurate records to support our network expansion and maintenance efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Mailbox Management: Handle the busy PIA mailbox on a rotating basis, addressing all emails, queries, and requests from various sources (duct & pole, build partners, internal stakeholders).
  • Evidence Submission: Submit A55 and SPO evidence to Openreach.
  • Follow-Up: Chase outstanding evidence affecting as-built submissions.
  • As-Built Submissions: Submit as-built records to Openreach and update APX (Planning tool) records.
  • Tracker Updates: Maintain various trackers and report any issues or risks to the PIA manager.
  • NOI Management: Create and extend NOIs to avoid expiry or relabeling as necessary.
  • Inventory Submission: Submit missing inventories.
  • Whereabouts Reporting: Raise whereabouts reports to Openreach when applicable.
  • Weekly Reporting: Issue weekly reports to the PIA Manager and internal stakeholders.
  • Build Partner Calls: Manage weekly build partner calls and issue minutes to relevant parties.
  • Lead-In Reports: Process and upload the monthly lead-in report.
  • Job Follow-Up: Chase outstanding jobs via Openreach, internal teams, and build partners as needed.
  • Tracker Maintenance: Ensure all trackers are up to date and fill in any gaps where required.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • PIA Network Knowledge: Understanding of the PIA network and Openreach portal.
  • Planning Tools: Experience with APX or similar planning tools.
  • Telecoms Experience: At least 1 years of experience in the telecoms industry.
