Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Brief:

A successful global company based in Burton on Trent, are urgently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will manage and control the processing of purchasing to ensure the accurate and timely fulfilment of contracts and Intake. You will also coordinate order processing, tracking and delivery to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders.

Key Duties:

  • Manage the sourcing and procurement processes needed by the site.
  • Issuing purchase orders
  • Ensuring timely deliveries to site to prevent down time
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain
  • Order processing: Receiving, processing, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Data collection and analysis: Collecting and analysing supply chain data to gain insight
  • Supply chain visibility: Monitoring and tracking the flow of goods and services and information across the supply chain in real time to identify bottlenecks, delays, or disruptions
  • Risk identification and mitigation: Identifying potential risks such as supply chain disruptions, supplier failures or regulatory changes. Implementing measures to mitigate their impact
  • Compliance management: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards and contractual obligations throughout the supply chain process
  • Other administrative tasks necessary for the smooth running of the office

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Supply Chain fundamentals: understanding of the basic principles and concepts of supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of logistics and procurement processes and procedures
  • Effective communication skills
  • ERP system proficiency

As the Supply Chain Coordinator you will have an understanding of the basic principles and concepts of supply chain management. You will also have knowledge of logistics as well as procurement processes and procedures and be able to ERP system proficiently.

In return you will be offered a salary of £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, full time in the office, 8:30am - 5:00pm with an hour for lunch. Also you will be offered 25 days holiday plus stats, pension match up to 8% and private healthcare.

This role is on a temporary to permanent basis with an immediate start. For the right candidate this could go straight to permanent.
