Technical Trainer Role Overview:

Introduction:

Our client, a leader in the global aviation industry, is seeking a Technical Trainer, who is tasked with assessing and fulfilling customer and technical training requirements, focusing on content creation, objectives, and design. The role involves managing the development, delivery, and evaluation of technical training, establishing processes for content identification, and assessing training effectiveness. Additionally, the Trainer supports proposal development through data collection and is responsible for implementing LGW training plans via observations, training sessions, and coaching to ensure consistent training delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical training to the client's Part 145 staff, ensuring alignment with the highest industry standards
  • All technical training related to business needs.
  • Continuation Training covering Human Factors (HF), Fuel Tank Safety (FTS), and Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) theoretical and practical training.
  • Prepare and continuously enhance technical training courses.
  • Develop comprehensive instructor materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional aids, and training aids.
  • Effectively deliver training through various methods, including classroom-based, eLearning, and virtual formats.
  • Build and deliver effective training programmes tailored to organisational and operational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or Aerospace Engineering degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft technical training.
  • Familiarity with EASA regulations.
  • Experience in aircraft engineering or within a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment.
  • Proficiency in coaching and developing others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to escalate issues to management.
  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines set by management teams.
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Competence in providing constructive feedback to management on non-compliance issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues effectively.
  • Possession of a relevant professional training certificate.
