Salary: £33,442 per annum - Scale PO1

Job Type: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Permanent

About the Role:

We are looking for a Basic Skills Coordinator to lead excellence in raising achievement for low attaining and disadvantaged students and developing a high-quality inclusion provision. You will work within our Pathways Provision.

This will include identifying the learning needs of specific students, based on the principles of early help, excellence, and high achievement, identifying the learning needs of specific students, and putting in place suitable interventions which will be tracked and monitored.

About You:

  • You will need to have a HLTA qualification or appropriate equivalent and an informed understanding of strategies to improve student progress and performance
  • You should have excellent communication and data management (analysis and target setting) skills. You should also have high standards in behaviour for learning
