Job Title: Shift Engineer
Salary: Up to £47,000
Location: Leighton Buzzard - Pension, Life Assurance, 25 days holiday & Healthcare
Hours: 6pm to 2pm or 10pm to 6am
We have a great opportunity to join a worldwide business as a Shift Engineer for a production facility based in Leighton Buzzard.
The Shift Engineer would be responsible for supporting the production team with a proactive service to enable production lines to run safely and efficiently, reduce downtime through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvements - all while having a high regard for Health and Safety.
Key responsibilities for a Shift Engineer
- Engineering maintenance and fault finding on industrial machinery
- Onsite maintenance and engineering's support for site assets
- Working on PPM schedules
- Troubleshooting systems
Essential skills for a Shift Engineer
- Rounded engineer with an electrical/mechanical bias
- Experience of working in a manufacturing facility
- Knowledge and experience of injection moulding industry
- Computer literate
- Compliant with Health and Safety requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work independently on maintenance tasks
