Brand Manager

  • Our client represents a vibrant portfolio of 50+ global brands, supplying products across all major UK retail sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketing professional seeking broad FMCG experience. You'll take ownership of both consumer and trade marketing for a diverse range of international food brands — blending strategic planning with hands-on commercial execution. If you're curious about world cuisines and passionate about consumer trends, this role offers the perfect fit.

What you'll be doing:

Working closely with the Sales team, you'll shape and deliver growth strategies across multiple channels — from major grocers to independents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing annual brand plans to achieve budget targets.
  • Managing relationships with overseas brand owners and providing regular reporting.
  • Leading the marketing mix across trade and consumer channels.
  • Managing marketing budgets, spend tracking, and supplier recharges.
  • Building category and consumer insight using data tools like Kantar, NIQ, and Mintel.
  • Identifying commercial opportunities through data analysis and market knowledge.
  • Creating persuasive brand presentations and customer sell-in decks.
  • Modelling promotional plans to optimise brand performance.
  • Collaborating on NPD and supporting innovation pipelines from concept to launch.
  • Managing creative, packaging, and research agency partnerships.
  • Supporting internal communications and monitoring competitor activity.

What we're looking for:

  • A professional marketing qualification.
  • Strong commercial skills, including P&L management experience.
  • Proficiency using category insight tools (Kantar, NIQ) to drive commercial decisions.
  • A track record of delivering compelling brand presentations.
  • Understanding of UK grocery customers, discounters, wholesalers, and independents.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-brand portfolios.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude — and the ability to collaborate and influence across functions.

If you're a commercially-minded marketer with a passion for international food brands, we'd love to hear from you.
