I am currently recruiting for a legal secretary to join a fantastic organisation in Leamington Spa on a temporary basis. This role is vital for maintaining high levels of efficiency and confidentiality. You will support solicitors and other professional staff by managing a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide full support to solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
  • Create and amend legal documents with high accuracy.
  • Handle and manage telephone calls, visitors, and enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare correspondence using our case management system.
  • Administer filing systems, including daily filing and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files.
  • Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
  • Arrange the scanning and photocopying of paperwork.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as required, ensuring compliance with quality standards and the firm's policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge of working within a Residential Conveyancing department.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and undertake searches, ID checks, and other work on files without dictation.
  • High levels of speed and accuracy in document handling.
  • Good telephone manner and comfort in speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and adaptable to varying tasks.
  • Proficiency in audio typing is essential.
