Hays Education is working closely with a good school in Coventry who are looking for a supply teaching assistant to support within their nursery from September. The school is close to the city centre with excellent public transport links.
Your new role
You will be required to work in the nursery with children of pre-school age. You will be supporting the class teacher with the delivery of activities, helping to set up for the day and being a proactive individual.
What you'll need to succeed
Working in childcare is extremely rewarding, and every day is a different day. You are welcomed by happy smiley faces. Therefore, it is important that you are a bubbly and fun individual. You will be passionate about working with children and have the desire to see them learn and develop. You MUST have experience working in a childcare setting, whether that be in a school or nursery. Ideally, you will have a childcare qualification. However, this is not compulsory, but you must have the relevant experience.
