Customer Account Assistant

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and a natural communicator? We're looking for a Customer Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this key role, you'll handle crucial day-to-day operations, from processing data entries to managing supplier relationships, ensuring smooth and efficient service for our customers.

ADM Agriculture operates from locations throughout England and offers a people-based quality service to farmers and consumers. As well as providing an integrated supply chain to ADM's UK assets in milling and oil seed crushing, ADM Agriculture supply a full range of non-grain feed ingredients to the feed and fuel markets, alongside a comprehensive range of seed and fertiliser products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acurately input daily customer weight data from reports
  • Follow up with hauliers to obtain and update outstanding weight information
  • Process new accounts and manage account updates seamlessly
  • Act as the main contact for supplier queries, fostering effective communication
  • Scan tickets and invoices for efficient record-keeping
  • Answer incoming calls with professionalism and a customer-focused approach
  • Provide additional support on other tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy and efficiency. You'll bring:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and confidence in adapting to bespoke systems
  • A solid understanding of commercial processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
