Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a number of Supply Teachers to fulfil day to day and long term cover positions across the whole of Hampshire!
We at Reed Education Southampton run the Hampshire Supply Service through our branch, covering over 500 schools across the Hampshire County. We provide teacher cover to a number of schools on a daily basis, based on the candidate's preferences and availability within schools in their local areas. We are currently entering the busiest period for teacher cover needs, as well as long term and permanent opportunities available to candidates who are seeking these types of positions.
As the Supply Teacher, you will arrive at the school for 8:30am and conclude the day at 3:30pm, where you will have no homework or additional responsibilities expected of you! You will cover your assigned class within your booking, providing a professional and engaging lesson based on the work that is provided, ensuring that all pupils are engaged within the delivery of the content. This role is fully flexible around your availability, and the more you can do, the more you can get!
For this role, you will need the following:
- Entitlement to Work in the UK
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent with a degree in a relevant subject
- Able to cover a variety of schools within your area (based on preferences)
- Good availability
- A passion for teaching and adaptable to different year groups
The salary for this role is currently set at £130-200 per day for supply teaching. Long term and permanent placement salary will differ.
