Used Parts Sales Person – Heavy Plant Construction Equipment
Following a recent internal promotion, we're now looking for a Used Parts Salesperson to join our busy team in Leicestershire!
What's involved in the role
- Process customer and engineer orders.
- Ensure margins are maintained during sales.
- Proactively contact potential customers to sell used parts.
- Identify future machine / component purchases.
- Internal and external assistance with questions and analysis.
- To ensure old unit returns are made within a timely manner, owning the refurbishment process.
- Complete new stock updates.
- Arrange national and overseas transport to satisfy customer requirements.
- Maintain social media pages.
- Assist different teams as and when required.
- Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.
What you will need
- Ideally a parts sales background within the construction, HGV or agricultural machinery industry
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Good verbal and written skills
- Negotiating on price within defined parameters
- Proactive selling / upselling skills
- Self motivated and able to self-manage
- Work as a team member and work with well with other departments and customers
- Invoicing process understanding
- Problem solving skills
- Own transport due to office location

Hours:
You'll be contracted to 38.5 hours per week, 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00-16:00 on Fridays.
