Assistant Accountant

I am working with a local family run business looking to appoint a hands on, dynamic assistant accountant.
They have always maintained their core principles to ensure the best journey for all customers.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years' experience in accounts and possess strong skills in SAGE50, Xero, and Excel
Daily Duties:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain financial records
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Support the finance team in day-to-day operations
- Utilise accounting software such as Xero and Excel
Personal Profile:
- Experience within a similar finance role
- Ideally AAT qualified / QBE Experience
- Proficiency in Xero and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
