Ideal for a finance professional with non-life insurance sector experience. The role will be to join a highly successful Lloyd's Underwriter. The duties will range from:
- Managing the monthly reporting process (UK GAAP / IFRS17)
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts (UK GAAP) for a number of group entities
- Managing the general ledgers of a number of subsidiary companies including review of reconciliations, postings and intercompany balances
- preparation of consolidated group accounts
- Ensuring strong controls exist and where necessary implementing new processes
- Acting as a key audit contact
- Involvement in projects and supporting / mentoring junior staff members
