Customs Brokerage Clerk

Customs Brokerage Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate jobs using internal system
  • Oversee import and export clearances from initiation to completion
  • Communicate effectively with external suppliers and government agencies
  • Operate and manage all shipments within our in-house systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Contribute to commercial awareness and support the management team
  • Assist colleagues across other departments as needed
  • Ensure strict adherence to customs compliance

Customs Brokerage Clerk Experience Required:

  • Proficient in clearing import and export consignments using CDS-integrated software
  • Strong understanding of import freight procedures
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills, including meticulous record-keeping
  • Skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking

Customs Brokerage Clerk Hours:

Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
