Our client, a market leader in the distribution of products to the retail industry is now seeking a talented and ambitious Procurement Administrator to join their Greater Manchester based offices.

The purpose of the role is to provide administration support for the day to day activities within the Procurement department.

Responsibilities

  • Raise line forms to facilitate required system changes and maintain accurate system data
  • Manage invoice query log to ensure swift resolution and minimise supply chain disruption
  • Collate product images, spec's and product detail to ensure system data is complete and up to date
  • Organise and catalogue inbound samples
  • Arrange and send out product samples to suppliers
  • Initiate and support end to end the supplier on-boarding process
  • Complete product set up's to ensure stock can be ordered and available in line with our customers' needs
  • Prepare and organise supplier score cards to ensure completion as per agreed schedule
  • Provide forecast/sale data to all accurate customer savings calculations
  • Initiate and complete upload templates following successful tender submissions
  • Provide Sustainability Product Set Up by entering PPT & EPR data
  • Administrate the Material Footprint portal for supplier data accuracy, primary and secondary packaging
  • Monitor Supplier Sustainability Inbox for communications and requests

The successful candidate will be self-organised and sufficiently mature in attitude to work independently, whilst balancing multiple tasks at the same time, some repetitive, short term, some strategic projects, long term. Previous Database maintenance experience would be of particular interest!
