The Benefits:

  • Generous Salary: £25,000 to £40,000, depending on experience
  • Annual Leave: 5 weeks plus 5 public holidays
  • Working Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week)

The Role and day to day:

As a Family Paralegal/Administrator, you will support the firm's busy family law department, which has seen significant growth. Your role will include:

  • Typing letters and documents
  • Effectively using the case management system to produce legal documents and letters
  • Liaising with clients and potential clients
  • Managing diaries
  • Preparing fee notes
  • Opening client files
  • Drafting court documents
  • Providing general administrative support
  • Offering holiday cover
  • Handling telephone and email correspondence

As the ideal candidate, you will be a bright, enthusiastic and cheerful individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and will:

  • Enjoy building good rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Have existing family law experience and knowledge of sheriff court or court of session procedures
  • Be eager to learn and grow within a hardworking, hands-on team
