We are a friendly professional company with our head office in Central Leeds. We are now seeking to appoint a Recruitment Consultant to join our thriving business.

AskJules operate across the UK as a market leading Life Style Management service for young disabled adults who require 24/7 care and support. Our clients are mainly university students who are living away from home.

Part of our comprehensive service is to assist our clients recruit and employ Personal Assistants to provide their health care, personal care, and academic support. This a bespoke service where we recruit particularly for each client.

This position does not involve canvassing for vacancies and there are no sales targets! This not a sales position.

Experience of the care industry although useful is by no means essential.

Key Duties/Tasks:

  • Reporting to the Recruitment Manager.
  • To provide a professional recruitment function.
  • Handle recruitment queries in a responsive customer-focused way, providing first line information and advice.
  • Screening CVs, match applicants to vacancies and pre select for interview.
  • Undertake other duties from time to time as required by the Recruitment Manager.
  • Create and post adverts across a range of hiring platforms.
  • Communicate requirements and duties to prospective applicants.
  • Process all recruitment-related administration within agreed time-scales.
  • Working closely with the Recruitment Manager to manage the day-to-day recruitment activities and diary.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently on all levels. Over the phone, face to face and by email.

Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • Self-motivated individual with a "must do" attitude towards filling vacancies.
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships with applicants.
  • Strong workload planning, organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience of Word, Adobe, Excel and Google applications.
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Recruitment experience (in-house or agency).
  • Understanding of the legal aspects of hiring.

  • 4 weeks holiday - Our business is closely linked to the University academic year and as such our busiest period in recruitment is understandably August, September and October, therefore we do not allow holidays of one week or more during these three months.
