Finance Assistant

Assistant – Full-Time – £28,000 - £35,000

Join an established family-owned business as a Finance Assistant.

What You'll Do:

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and handle a variety of tasks essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team.

Your responsibilities will include producing sales invoicing and managing debtor chasing, handling purchase ledger and reconciling statements, and reconciling balance sheet control accounts.

Additionally, you will perform bank reconciliations, collect and enter data via Excel spreadsheets, and assist with the annual audit process. You will coordinate with external payroll providers, check reports, and process payments. Managing new supplier account applications and setups and general administration.

What You Need:

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in an accounts role, ideally with proficiency in Xero accounting software. Ideally, you should hold an AAT accounting qualification or another recognized accounting qualification.
