Interim FP&A Analyst

Stanton House is recruiting for an Interim FP&A Analyst to join a PE Backed Services business in London on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. The role offers £80,000 per annum plus pension, holiday and car allowance. This is a London-based hybrid role, working 2 days in the office and the rest from home. The organisation is a market leader in their industry and has an impressive management team that are driving growth on a global basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly results presentations for the senior management.
  • Review regional financial performance against budget and forecast, focusing on risks and opportunities for senior management.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews with countries to ensure compliance with month-end processes and Group financial controls.
  • Coordinate the Group's annual budget and quarterly forecasts, managing timelines, instructions, and communication with global teams to meet deadlines.
  • Improve reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes by updating templates and implementing changes with the Group systems team.
  • Analyse regional and group budgets and forecasts, presenting insights and critical metrics for senior management.
  • Oversee reports, working with the systems team on report content, testing and usage promotion.
  • Manage and execute ad-hoc projects as needed.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with 2-3 years PQE.
  • Must have experience building and analysing P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet budgets and forecasts for large groups or divisions.
  • Strong Excel modelling skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • High standards for quality and accuracy, given that outputs are for senior executives.
  • Experience with Group Reporting Packages.
  • Solid technical skills, including confidence with multi-currency group consolidations.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to all management levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Skilled in building effective relationships across a global organisation at all levels.
