Are you an established ER specialist who loves the variety that ER brings day to day?

Do you champion coaching stakeholders through each and every case to take them on the journey and increase management capability?

I am fortunate enough to be partnering exclusively with a large organisation based in Leeds to source an ER Manager on a 12-18 month FTC into their established, well respected, HR function. You will work closely with the wider HR Managers to understand key people challenges in a variety of head office and white collar business areas, and take the lead on all complex ER cases for your business units.

This is an incredibly people centric business and the ability to coach and upskill stakeholders through cases to build management capability is mega important. This isn't a 'my way of the high way' type ER role. It's a technical expert that can bring anyone from a Finance Director to an Office Manager on the journey through an ER case, and make sure they are a better people manager at the end of it! Stakeholder relationships are key, and I need someone who is passionate about upskilling the wider business and sees the value in taking that extra time to coach through processes.

The successful applicant must be CIPD level 7 qualified.

So, what's the role?

  • Working in a small team of ER Specialists to deliver on high volume complex cases, including disciplinary, grievances, capability, absence and attendance.
  • Supporting the corporate functions and white collar business areas. Working with all levels of stakeholders
  • Coaching stakeholders by offering different solutions and supporting their learning journey through an ER process
  • Building long term relationships with stakeholders to support the people focused culture of the business
  • Working closely with HR Managers
  • Wider project work, including any legislation changes and policy/procedure updates
