My client in Berkshire is looking to appoint a talented Communications Lead for Safeguarding Partnerships on a Contract basis.
This role will produce a Safeguarding Partnership communications and engagement strategy, ensuring the voice of children and vulnerable adults is reflected.
About the role:
Based in Berkshire (Hybrid):
- Enhance sustainable digitalised communications systems using readily available social media and working with the Council's IT and communications teams.
- Provide effective in-house communications on Safeguarding within the council and with Slough Children First, our children's social care provider.
- Focussed communications with children and adults social care services as lead agencies and also with the community safety partnership.
- Find sustainable ways for partners to communicate directly with children and vulnerable adults at risk as a target group for messaging about help available to them.
About you: You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience delivering social care communications in a Local Authority.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- A thorough understanding of Communications channels, including social media and digital platforms
- Excellent understanding of social care, specifically safeguarding and the relevant partnerships.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £400 per day, inside IR35
