Export Administrator
Salary: Up to £27,000
Location: Commutable from Grimsby, Immingham, Barton, Kirmington, Laceby
Hours: Full-time Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm
Axi Recruitment are pleased to be collaborating with an established, well-respected business in Northeast Lincolnshire for an Export Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a supply chain and logistics environment.
The Role:
- Perform effective export operations and administration.
- Provide an excellent service to customers at all times.
- Issue sales invoicing to customers according to agreements, as well as check and pass purchase invoices.
- Take bookings and create the booking forms in internal software.
- Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines regarding export operations.
- Be on an on-call rota as needed (1 in 5 weekends).
- Complete customs clearances for export, and export transit documentation, via Destin8 and Descartes.
The Person:
- Experience in a similar Customs or Export/Import role
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Customer focussed with the ability to provide exceptional service
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and have good decision-making skills
- Be IT literate, ideally with Destin8 or Descartes experience
