We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Soldering Technician to join our growing smart controls company. You will be soldering and assembling production and prototype PCBs, both through hole and SMD.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
- Hand soldering prototype and small volume production boards with various components, through hole and SMD down to 0603.
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety.
- Produce assemblies with care and attention to detail while ensuring the company's high quality is always consistent.
- Carry out various other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Must have formal training in Soldering.
- Minimum of 2 years hand soldering experience working in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Must be flexible and willing to carry out different tasks as required.
- Must be skilled at soldering SMD components by hand down to 0603.
- Demonstrate recent experience within a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Vehicle essential for access to work location.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
