Head of Brand & Communication

Our client, a key player in Britain's gas market, is seeking a visionary Head of Brand and Communications to lead and execute communication and brand strategies aligned to its values and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing, branding and communications, along with strong stakeholder management skills. As part of the leadership team, you will provide strategic communications counsel to the SLT, enhance internal engagement, and boost external brand engagement and recognition. Responsibilities

  • Act as advisor to the Exec Team on all aspects of communications, marketing and brand.
  • Compile, develop and execute their Communication, Marketing & Brand plan.
  • Collaborate with PR partner to design/coordinate media campaigns, both online and offline.
  • Responsible for the Stakeholder management strategy.
  • Manage the relationship with all external agencies ? Marketing and PR.
  • Participate in planning of external and internal events, conferences and fairs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive initiatives related to BD & CSR responsibility
  • Responsible for website content and other social media platforms.
  • Own and manage the marketing and communications budget.
  • Support culture of learning, high level of employee engagement & succession planning

Experience required

  • Ability to express ideas clearly and accurately, crafting well-organized content that communicates complex ideas in a straightforward and engaging manner.
  • Significant experience in marketing and communications leadership roles.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to provide comms counsel to the SLT.
  • Experience of producing written and multimedia content for a wide range of audiences, with familiarity of digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Relevant experience in planning, delivering & evaluating comms and engagement campaigns
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Experience of managing budgets
