Salary – £22,000 - £27,000 dependent on experience

The opportunity

They are recruiting an Administrator to join a friendly team and looking for an individual who is committed to providing exceptional administrative and compliance support.

This role is perfectly suited to someone who likes all things administration, and someone who takes pride in their role and has exceptional attention to detail.

You'll be joining as a supporting member of the team and will support our subscription service for their clients to ensure they remain compliant. You will need to be a proactive and self-motivated individual who is passionate about joining us and enjoys working as part of a team however can work on your own.

They are potentially looking for 2 Administrators to join the team – one junior Administrator that they can train and develop and an Administrator who will ideally have some experience within a regulated environment or experience within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with ongoing clients to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Create bespoke policies and procedures to ensure all processes within a new applicant firm are covered and that the processes meet FCA regulation so they can be submitted with their Full Permission FCA Application
  • Liaise with new applicant firms to ensure we fully understand their requirements and the reasons behind the Full Permission authorisation
  • Highlighting any non-compliance within the business to the Head of Compliance so that process improvements can be made
  • Keeping up to date with industry and FCA communications and regulatory updates to ensure knowledge is up to date, enabling you to complete the required responsibilities and tasks within your Job Description to a high standard
  • Assist with the delivery of all key reports to be delivered under TCG's Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Assist with investigations into complaints, incidents and rule breaches
  • Assist with Horizon Scanning for any regulatory changes or updates to the regulations and reporting to the Head of Compliance and Directors
  • Complete any requests assigned to you from the Support Mailbox and respond appropriately in a timely manner
  • Quality Assurance assessment and oversight for clients
  • Accurately recording information onto our CRM system and external systems
  • Communicating over the telephone with clients
  • Daily use of Office, Excel, Outlook and in-house & external systems
  • Escalate issues to management as and when required
  • Transfer of data between systems
  • Liaise with all members of the company
  • Ensure enquiries are dealt with during, or immediately following, the first contact with the client. All enquiries are to be processed within agreed performance standards, the Data Protection Act and the Group's confidentiality policy
  • Completing simple FCA applications on behalf of clients (don't worry they will provide training for this)

Experience

  • Experience working in an office environment with a small team of dedicated members of staff
  • Experience of communication within a workplace environment, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Data Entry and/or Administration
  • Experience of working within a FCA regulated firm is desirable but not essential
  • Broad base of Compliance understanding is desirable but not essential
  • Experience within an automotive industry is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in Bookkeeping or accounting is desirable but not essential
