Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform reconciliations of accounts
- Support the Accounting & Finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with internal control procedures
- Assist in the processing of invoices and payments
- Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes
- Assist in other financial tasks as required by the team
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
