Role & Responsibilities
We are looking to hire an experienced Account Manager to drive sales of our clients Cloud and data-centre propositions. They require an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with 1 -3 years' experience within the IT reseller/ MSP industry, who is looking to develop a professional sales career in one of the biggest growth areas in tech, cloud storage.
Your job will be to prospect accounts, qualify leads/ opportunities, and close business by working the full sales cycle from inception to close. You will be selling to new and existing customers over the phone and F2F, so you must be prepared to be proactive.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be confident, hard-working, and prepared to improve your sales and technical skills. You will be fully trained by my client, in both sales' methodology and technical knowledge. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Cross sell/ upsell via conducting service reviews for existing clients (180+ accounts) to expand share of wallet within these accounts
- Target whitespace in existing transactional accounts (200+ accounts) to sell the full portfolio
- Acquire net new accounts via continuous prospecting into a database of existing customers who do not currently buy from my client
Collaborate with vendor partners to jointly target accounts
- Prospect existing open leads, disqualified leads, and net new leads generated
Qualify leads properly and progress through Sales Process to Close
Achieve business set KPIs - GP/RP etc.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast
Improve industry knowledge and sales proficiency via ongoing personal training
Experience:** 1 - 3 years experience selling IT Managed Services or working for an IT Reseller or someone who has sold cloud or data centre solutions NOT selling through the channel - need to have worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
