Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a social enterprise in order to appoint an Accounts Payable Supervisor for an initial 3-month contract. They are in the middle of a major transformation and need urgent support during this busy period. This position will be for 3 months and offers hybrid working.
Role:
Working closely with the Finance Systems Specialist, you will supervise an AP team and assist with the ongoing transformation and implementations for the organisation.
Duties will include;
- Line managing AP Officers and coordinating workload efficiently
- Training non-financial members of staff on financial functions
- Leading on system and ledger close downs ensuring that ledger controls are in place
- Assisting with the implementation of a new financial system
Person:
The successful candidate:
- AAT qualified for equivalent
- Experience or exposure with implementing new financial systems
- Excellent communication skills and able to relay information to senior stakeholders
- Available to start immediately/short notice
