The company is based near St James's and follows a hybrid approach to working in the office (2/3 days a week).
As the SAP Finance Systems Manager, the incoming candidate will:
- Play a key role in managing and optimizing SAP systems to support the organization's financial processes, reporting, and analysis.
- Work closely with Finance teams, IS professionals, and stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of SAP modules, enhance system functionality, and drive ongoing improvements.
This role will focus on the following areas:
- Configure and tailor SAP modules, including SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP CO (Controlling), and other relevant modules, to align with the Finance department's specific needs.
- Partner with IS teams to integrate SAP systems with other enterprise platforms, such as ERP, CRM, and BI systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.
- Provide support and training to finance users on SAP functionalities, processes, and best practices, ensuring effective use of SAP systems and compliance with established procedures.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancements for SAP modules, collaborating closely with IT teams and vendors to implement changes with minimal operational disruption.
- Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within SAP systems by implementing and upholding data governance policies, validation rules, and master data management processes.
- Create and manage financial reports, dashboards, and analytics within SAP systems, utilizing tools like SAP Analytics Cloud to deliver timely insights to finance stakeholders.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, standardization, and optimization within SAP systems to boost efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and enhance controls in financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and security standards within SAP systems, applying access controls, segregation of duties, and audit trails as needed.
Candidates should have the following experience:
- Proven experience in implementing and managing SAP systems within an Organisation's Finance function, with a focus on driving process improvements and delivering business value.
- Skilled in configuring, customizing, and managing SAP modules relevant to the Finance function.
- Proficient in SAP HANA database technology.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI is a plus.
