- *Role Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join our team and work in partnership with schools in the Bradford area. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, providing support and guidance to students who need it the most. This position is a temp-to-perm opportunity, starting in September.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide support to students with behavioural needs, helping them to engage effectively in their education.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions in line with school policies.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
- Support the social and emotional development of students.
- *Requirements:**
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with challenging behaviour.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, child development, or a related field is desirable.
