Forklift Operative
- Hourly Rate: £12-15 PAYE / £15-18 Umbrella

We are currently seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client's team on a temporary basis. The role is based in Canning Town and requires immediate start. A valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential for this position.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move goods within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading deliveries and organising them in the storage area.
- Ensuring the safe handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.
- Conducting regular checks on the forklift to ensure it is safe to use.
- Assisting with inventory counts and warehouse organisation.
- Complying with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Good physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
