Boston Hale are hiring for an Interim Head of Financial Operations for an not for profit organisation based in Birmingham. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The successful candidate will be qualified accountant or QBE with significant experience of financial operations.
- Leading the day to day financial processing operations
- Managing credit control, accounts payable, and income teams
- Promoting the redesign and implementation of changes to working practices and procedures, to meet legislative and regulatory requirements
- Analyse trends to inform decision making on key financial strategies and policies
- Providing monthly management information for all areas of responsibility
- Taking responsibility for technical accounting entries in the ledger and compliance with accounting standards and applicable rules
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintaining and updating transaction processing policies
- Identifying and making recommendations to improve value for money and financial control
