Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative looking for an employed, permanent role with a successful and growing business?
We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance / Garden Maintenance Operative who lives within easy commute to North Leeds area to join a small team.
General duties will involve carrying out grass cutting, weed control, hedge pruning, border maintenance, leaf clearance, winter gritting, litter picking, and landscape clearance as required.
Details:
- Permanent / Full-time
- £12.50-£14.50 per hour (equiv. to £26k-£30k per annum based on experience)
- Mon-Fri / 8am-4pm
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays – to increase with length of service
Experience and Skills needed:
- Previous experience in grounds / garden maintenance
- Good communication skills and committed to the best customer service
- A passion for Horticulture/Gardening
- Valid UK Driving licence
- PA1 & PA6 spraying license (preferred)
- Be able to confidently use mobile phone technology to record work activity.
- Have high standards and strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all sites and external grounds are maintained to an exceptionally high and reputable standard
- General ground maintenance duties using horticultural machinery such as powered mowers, strimmers and hand tools.
- Landscape improvement duties to enhance sites.
- Additional duties dependant on client site.
