We are looking to fill the role of Youth Development Worker, for a client within a housing environment.

The Role:
v Supporting young people in a Key Worker role.
v Providing and updating action plans and risk assessments
v Offering young people in supported accommodation 1-2-1 sessions or supporting group activities
v Enabling young people to gain the skills needed to live independently in the community
v Managing own diary and caseload
The Candidate will need:
v A drive to find solutions in supporting young people with a range of backgrounds
v An understanding of young people's needs and interests, allowing appropriate actions plans to be made
v A passion for providing immediate care and support for young people with safeguarding and emotional and mental health issues
v Having a resilient and flexible nature when dealing with others
v Being able to work under pressure while producing support plans and meeting deadlines
v Happy to work alone or in a team player environment.
v A positive approach, with a can-do attitude whilst maintaining professional boundaries
SUMMARY:
This role is being offered on a full time, temporary basis and will be based in the Bristol office.
Working hours to 37 a week, M-F 8am-8pm, and working 1 weekend in 4, on a rota basis.
An enhanced DBS adult and child needs to be already held to apply for this role due to the urgency to fill
