The primary focus of this position is to assist with the delivery of corporation tax compliance. You'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality tax services to large OMB's, Corporate Groups and PE back businesses.

What we're looking for...
- Someone friendly and approachable
- An individual who is confident corresponding with clients and HMRC
- Previous or current experience working in public practice accounting
- ACA / ACCA / AAT / CTA newly qualified, or part qualified
- 2+ year's experience in corporation tax (experience in accounting will also be considered)
- Experience in advisory preferable but not a deal breaker!
Responsibilities...
- Preparation of tax accounting disclosures and corporation tax computations for submission to HMRC for complex clients (e.g., corporate groups, P.E backed businesses, large OMBs)
- Reviewing compliance work drafted by junior colleagues on simpler clients,
- Awareness of contentious tax issues, managing risk and advising clients appropriately,
- Quarterly Instalment Payment Calculations.
- Preparation and assistance with various advisory projects: Detailed capital allowances reviews, R&D claims, Group restructures, Corporation tax due diligence and supporting mergers or acquisitions
- Training and mentoring junior team members
- Developing strong relationships with other members tax teams and commercial and trusting relationships with clients.
