Temporary Finance Manager - Charity

Are you an experienced senior finance professional who can confidently run and finance function in a small and hands-on charity? Do you have experience in preparing annual accounts and leading a successful audit? Would you like to work for an inspiring charity working towards a fantastic cause? If yes, read on!

Robertson Bell are partnering with a unique charity to recruit an Temporary Finance Manager role for an initial six-month contract. This will be a three day a week role, offered on a hybrid basis with travel to the London office required once per week.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Finalise the statutory accounts in line with SORP and lead a successful audit.
  • Produce monthly finance reports for the Trustees.
  • Manage the day to day transactional processing and bookkeeping for the organisation.
  • To maintain the integrity of the finance system, including setting up new accounts, blocking off old accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed and correct.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
  • Experienced managing end to end bookkeeping.
  • An experienced user of Sage.
  • Available at very short notice.
