We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a brand new, purpose-built luxury care home in a picturesque Worcestershire village. This is a night-shift only role, perfect for a dedicated and compassionate nurse looking for a supportive and rewarding work environment.
Location: Worcestershire
Position: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift: Nights only - 4 on 4 off rota (7pm - 7am)
Salary: £23 per hour + Benefits
Residents: 60 residents
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of care during your shift, ensuring all staff are performing to the best of their ability.
- Regularly interact with residents, ensuring their needs are met through observation and engagement.
- Organise and coordinate GP visits as necessary, implementing their guidance.
- Update and review resident care plans to keep them accurate and tailored to individual needs.
- Administer medications and maintain precise records.
- Report incidents, concerns, or accidents to the Home Manager and Clinical Lead.
- Provide a clear handover for the next shift, outlining key priorities.
- Offer clinical support and mentorship to ensure staff on your shift are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of nursing experience.
- Valid NMC registration.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a small team, setting a positive example.
- Previous care home experience is advantageous, but not essential.
