Join our team as a Customer Service Administrator, where you will be the first-line response for customer service queries across all service deliveries of on-site logistics operations. This role is crucial in ensuring high standards and meeting customer requirements efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate customer engagement in collaboration with the Bookings Team, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Support the input, schedule, and coordination of delivery scheduling requirements for various services including inbound, internal, and outbound logistics.
- Provide administrative assistance within the warehouse, from booking jobs onto the transport management system to maintaining storage logs and producing customer reports.
- Compile and provide reports on customer feedback and data for dashboard reporting.
- Attend client review meetings and compile periodic reports as per client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies while undertaking duties.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any potential delivery conflicts or disputes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years' experience in a customer-facing role within a logistics planning and KPI-driven environment.
- Strong customer service ethos with the ability to build and maintain relationships under challenging circumstances.
- Required security clearance: DV security clearance.
- Desirable: Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and AMS; knowledge of construction and warehouse logistics.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing staff, colleagues, and customers at all levels.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Education to GCSE Level, Grade 4 or above, in English and Maths.
