Workshop Engineer

The Role of the Workshop Engineer

  • Maintain, repair installations, and optimise fluidpower and/or electrical equipment.
  • Production of HPU's, Cylinders and other hydraulic equipment.
  • Strip, assess, repair and build of hydraulic equipment.
  • Strict adherence to all relevant Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) procedures.
  • Identifying and diagnosing issues within fluid power systems.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance.
  • Maintaining accurate records of system maintenance activities and repairs.

Benefits of the Workshop Engineer

  • £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
  • Overtime available

The Ideal Person for the Workshop Engineer

  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Experience maintaining, repairing, and installing fluid power systems, including compressed air and hydraulic components.
  • Strong communication skills.
