GI Group Grimsby are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager based at their clients established vehicle body shop in North East Lincolnshire.

The hours for this role are 6AM - 6PM on a 4 on 4 off rotation, on a temporary to permanent opportunity (this can be discussed dependant on suitability).
The pay rate will be £19.05 per hour whilst on the temporary basis.
Once the permanent position has been achieved the rate will be £40k per annum.

Experience required for the Duty Manager role;
? Experience working within an automotive background
? Previous experience of working within the role of a team leader role or line manager role
? Managing employees - absence planning, onboarding and offboarding employees
? Production leadership
? Performance management i.e. training, appraisals and coaching

Duties of the Duty Manager expected but not limited to;
? Assist and carry out disciplinary processes when necessary
? Be prepared to take on any other responsibilities outside of the role
? Adhere to and support all health and safety aspects on site
? Ensure vehicles are prepared to company/client standards
? Liaise with administration to ensure maximum performance
? Be involved in managing relationships with suppliers
? Identify any opportunities which would improve performance and working

The main purpose of this role is to fully support the production management as a Duty Manager in all aspects of site including health and safety, yard movements, logistics and planning.
