Social Science Teacher
- Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover (up to 1 year) Starting December/January

- Salary: Starting from £162 per day

This maternity cover role offers the opportunity to teach a diverse curriculum across Year 7 to Year 13, with a particular emphasis on A Level subjects. Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering inspiring and engaging lessons across a range of Social Science subjects, including Sociology, Criminology, and Health and Social Care.
- Encouraging students to become inquisitive and independent thinkers, with the aim of sparking their interest in further study or helping them understand Social Science in everyday life.
- Ensuring equality of opportunity for all learners to make good progress, irrespective of starting points.
- Building effective relationships with students and colleagues, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Acting as a positive role model for students and embodying the school's ethos and values.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to teach a range of Social Science subjects to A Level.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using presentation software.
- A personable and approachable demeanor, capable of quickly establishing rapport with students and staff.
