A successful property lets business in Hull is looking to hire an accounts assistant to support with basic accounting duties.
The role would perhaps suit somebody AAT Level 3 qualified with some experience either gained in and SME or with a firm of accountants.

Main duties of the role:
- Data Entry: Recording financial transactions such as invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses into accounting software.
- Ledger Maintenance: Keeping the general ledger and other subsidiary ledgers updated.
- Bank Reconciliation: Comparing the company's financial records against bank statements to ensure they match.
- Processing Invoices: Reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier invoices for payment.
- Payment Runs: Preparing and executing payments to suppliers, whether through checks, bank transfers, or other payment methods.
- Raising Invoices: Preparing and sending invoices to customers for products or services provided.
- Credit Control: Monitoring outstanding payments, sending reminders, and chasing overdue accounts.
- Cash Allocation: Recording incoming payments from customers and allocating them to the correct accounts.
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000
