Position: Solicitor

Location: Hybrid – attendance to London office one day a week.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As a Solicitor at Rendall & Rittner you will:

  • Be fully qualified in order to provide legal support to the Group Head of Legal, and to the company, in areas such as:

  • Lease interpretation and the regulation of service charges.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including services agreements.

  • Compliance, including AML and Sanctions

  • GDPR and Privacy

  • Dispute resolution, including some County Court claims (to inclue defences, interim applications etc).

  • Draft and implement internal policies and procedures to appropriately manage risk.

  • Develop and deliver legal and compliance training to the business.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of relevant legal developments and provide proactive advice to mitigate risks.

  • Efficiently manage many deadlines relating to a variety of matters at any one time

  • Effective monitoring and scrutiny of files ensuring timescales are met and that paperwork is processed, filed, and kept up to date.

  • Have a good understanding of property management to include residential leases and tenants' rights.

  • Have proven experience in data protection legislation. #
