Reed is recruiting a Registered Manager to join a small Care Home in Waterlooville, in the beautiful county of Hampshire. The home provides compassionate care for elderly residents, including those living with dementia. As a Registered Manager, you will ensure the well-being and safety of residents and maintain high standards of care.
- Annual Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Day to day of the role:
- Lead and inspire a team of care staff to provide compassionate and person-centred care.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, empathy, and professionalism.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care services, collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to create individualized care plans.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, including CQC requirements, and implement policies and procedures for safe and effective care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to uphold quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, encouraging participation in social activities and promoting dignity, respect, and independence.
- Manage budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising the quality of care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services ***OR"""
- QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in managing care services for elderly and dementia residents.
- Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and best practices.
- Full, valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
