M365 Messaging Specialist, Exchange
Our client, a leading finance business based in Cirencester, is seeking to hire a skilled M365 Messaging Specialist for an Exchange decommissioning project.
Role Overview:
As part of a dynamic team of four, you will report directly to the Lead Technical Consultant for Microsoft & Ancillary Systems. The project includes replacing the existing Exchange messaging/email system and decommission Exchange servers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace the incumbent Exchange messaging/email system.
- Decommissioning existing Exchange servers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption.
- Utilize your knowledge of email transport protocols and security best practices.
- Apply strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues proactively.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Exchange and Proofpoint.
- Proficiency in email transport protocols and security best practices.
- Strong analytical abilities with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- Proven experience in supporting IT projects with effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Beneficial: Experience with transport and routing.
Additional Information:
- This is a hybrid role requiring one day per week on-site in Cirencester.
- Engagement is via umbrella company only.
