The Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Carterton will collaborate with Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other professionals to gain first-hand experience with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). Utilize the knowledge acquired from your degree in a practical setting. A primary school in Carterton is seeking to enhance their dedicated and diligent SEN team with a new member who is positive, compassionate, and approachable.
Requirements for the Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Carterton role:
- Bsc in Psychology or related field.
- Knowledge of developmental psychology, learning theories, and behavioural interventions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the KS1/KS2 students, parents, and colleagues.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support the holistic development of Primary students.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting is preferred but not required. This can be tutoring!
- SEN/SENCO experience is preferred.
