Love designing PV layouts? Do yield calculations do it for you? Are you all about invertor specs?
In your new Solar PV design contract you'll be working on projects across the UK for a Principal contractor. They have close links to the public sector so the majority of your designs will be put in place on schools, hospitals, leisure centres and council buildings - helping the likes of the NHS and education system to be more energy efficient and sustainable.
Because of the nature of those sites these aren't going to be huge PV systems; its mostly LV and MV designs, roof and ground-mounted, so we'd be looking for you to have a similar portfolio with commercial (not just residential) examples.
This Solar PV Design Engineer contract is anticipated to last at least 6 months and it will be mostly remote working. If you do get lonely in your home office though the company's very welcoming HQ is in central London.
